DESE End of Year Financial Report & Audit
The Department of Elementary & Secondary Education requires all school districts to submit an end-of-year financial report (EOYR) by September 30th of each year. It is a detailed accounting of each dollar of revenue and expense from all sources of funds (General Fund budget, grants, revolving funds, and donations). Click Here for EOYR Archive
As a regional school district, MERSD is required to have an external accounting firm (Powers & Sullivan) conduct an annual audit of the district's financial practices. Click Here for the Annual Audit Archive

Excess & Deficiency Annual Report
Excess and Deficiency is the amount by which cash, accounts receivable, and other assets exceed a regional school district's liabilities and reserves. The E&D Report shows the data and calculations used in determining the certified excess & deficiency amount, based on the school district's balance sheet as of June 30.
