From Boston and surrounding areas, take most convenient route to I-95/128 North. Follow signs toward Gloucester. I-95N will break away in Peabody, you will stay on Route 128N.

Continue on Rt. 128N to Exit 15 in Manchester (School Street). Turn left at end of exit ramp onto School Street, School Street becomes Southern Avenue. Proceed for approximately 2.5 miles to end of Southern Avenue. Turn left onto Main Street/Route 133; follow for approximately .8 mile (passing Woodman’s Restaurant on your left and further down on your right, Periwinkles Restaurant). Turn left onto Western Avenue from Route 133, proceeding for approximately .3 mile. Story Street will be on your right, turn right and Essex Elementary School will be on your left.
