The Memorial School Community believes in educating the "whole child" in order to help children reach their fullest potential.  Character education is something that the MMES staff takes great pride in.  Memorial School's Core Values are:

These positive character traits are taught and modeled by staff at monthly School-Wide Morning Meetings.  During the meetings, different aspects of each core value are explored and discussed.  Students who are "caught" demonstrating these character traits throughout the school day might be recognized by a staff member giving them a "Heart Ticket" to trade in for rewards such as core value bracelets, or to spend time with a favorite staff member.  We believe that good character is one of the most important attributes of our students and staff.
