• Athletic Fee Schedule 2024-2025

    Family Cap: $1,600 High School / $1,250 Middle School

    The high school family cap will be used for any family with either high school or high school and middle school student athletes participating. The middle school cap is used for families with middle school-only student athletes. User fees are due prior to the start of the athletic season in which a student athlete participates. If the fee is not paid, a late fee of $40 will be applied. The student athlete will become ineligible until all registration requirements are met.

    Payment Plans: Families who wish to set up a payment plan for athletics user fees must contact the Athletic Department prior to the start of the athletics season.

    User Fee Refund Policy: MERSD does not authorize refunds after the first athletic contest has been played. Appeals to this policy can be submitted to the Athletic Director and School Principal.

     

    Schedules

    Tryout/practice schedules will be posted on rSchool. Bus schedules and directions to facilities will be posted here as well.

    Inclement Weather Notifications: Decisions on whether the day's games or matches will be played are made at 1:00 PM. Want to stay up to date with current athletic schedules?     Registration

    All registrations must be completed online at www.familyid.com. Please note that student athletes need to register for each season separately.

     

    Forms of payment:

    1.Credit card via the MERSD Online Payment Center can be accessed here or with the link to the online payment center provided in your online registration confirmation email.

    2.Checks can be made out to MERSD and mailed to MERSD Athletics, 36 Lincoln Street, Manchester, MA 01944.

    Waiver Information: Families may apply for a waiver by filling out the Free or Reduced Lunch form. 

     

    Physical Forms:

    The student athlete's physical forms can be turned in via mail, email, fax or hand-delivered to the Athletic Office. MERSD Athletic Dept./ 36 Lincoln St. / Manchester, MA 01944.

    If a student athlete’s physical expires during the season, they will immediately become ineligible and not be permitted to participate until an updated physical is on file in the Athletic Office! Physicals are valid for 13 months!

    *8th grade students may be invited to try out for JV Field Hockey and JV Girls/Boys Soccer teams pending high school participation numbers.

    *8th grade students may be invited to try out for JV2 Girls Basketball. Middle school students participating in the Indoor Track & Field, Alpine Ski, and Swim/Dive programs will be placed on the HS JV team. There are no middle school teams for these three programs.

    *8th grade students may be invited to try out for JV (Baseball, Girls Lacrosse, & Boys Lacrosse) and/or Varsity Softball, depending on HS registration numbers. Middle school students participating in the sailing program will be placed on the HS team. There is no middle school team for sailing.

    *Please note: Middle School participation on high school teams is subject to change as a result of receipt of MIAA waivers.
