Friends of Manchester Essex Performing Arts

FOMEPA believes all students should experience the power of performing arts and should have the opportunity to participate in robust performing arts as a vital part of their K-12 education.  As parents, family, and community members, we want to support our children by fostering their passion for Performing Arts and giving them every opportunity to succeed.

Manchester Essex Education Fund

For more than forty-three years the Manchester Essex Education Fund has helped families in Manchester and Essex Massachusetts ease the burden of college costs by providing scholarships that support our students’ efforts to achieve a college education.

 

The fund benefits all Manchester and Essex residents, regardless of the secondary school they attend. Although the historical focus of the Fund has been granting scholarships to graduating seniors from high school, the Fund’s mission is sufficiently broad to explore relationships and cooperative efforts with organizations such as the Spaulding Trust and Robert Hooper Trust.

 

The Manchester Essex Boosters Club is an organization of volunteers whose main purpose is to raise money for the support of the Manchester Essex Regional School District’s athletic teams, to support the needs of all Manchester-Essex student athletes and athletic teams, to enhance and promote athletic achievement and school spirit, to contribute to new ideas for athletic success, and most importantly, to provide scholarships to ME student athletes. The Boosters raise funds through an all-sport program book each season, canteen proceeds, and donations.

ME Gridiron Club supports Hornet Athletics and have made substantial contributions to athletes, including equipment for weight room and trainer's room, field improvements, recruiting software, video equipment, practice gear for fall sports, state championship dinners, and much, much more. Their mission is to improve the athletic experience for MERHS athletes. We are focused on making contributions to the athletes while they are attending MERHS and welcome all Hornet Faithful!

 

It is the mission of the Hooper Fund to promote after school and summer educational and recreational programs for children in the community. Every year, The Fund receives many grant requests. The monies awarded for these grants have been used to establish scholarship programs, sponsor youth activities, enhance library programs, purchase athletic and recreational equipment, establish a high school speaker series, sponsor concerts in the park and provide “seed” money for new programs for children.

 

Spaulding Education Fund is an independent, nonprofit organization supporting programs that enhance the academic curriculum of the Manchester Essex Regional School District. For over 30 years, the Spaulding Fund grants to MERSD educators have helped students reach their greatest potential through innovative, creative educational opportunities that can’t be funded through the tax-supported school budget.
