School Committee Goals 2013-2014
Develop and deliver a fiscally responsible budget, with a specific goal of establishing an OPEB trust and beginning to fund it.
Develop a plan and timeline for addressing facility needs of the elementary schools.
Focus resources and accountability on key components of the strategic plan as they apply to the Middle High School,
specifically related to guidance, pedagogy, program of studies, and technology integration.
Continue to review and monitor all policies adding new ones where needed.

School Committee Governance
The powers and duties of the Manchester Essex Regional School District are vested in and exercised by the Manchester Essex Regional School Committee.
The school committee is elected to terms in accordance with the Regional School District Agreement. and consists of seven members, four from Manchester-by-the-Sea and three from Essex.
