Mission The Manchester Essex Foodservice Department's goal is to provide all students with healthy, well-balanced and affordable meals. Our vision is to not only provide nutritious meals, but to also educate all students in how to make healthy nutritious choices in their lives. It has been proven through countless scientific studies that students of all economic levels that are adequately nourished perform at a higher academic level than those students who are not. Studies have also shown that students who eat school breakfast and lunches consume more nutrients than those who do not.
